Underglaze Decoration
All underglaze colours are lead-free, intermixable (exception: 6190-6195) and can be used in all decoration techniques of the under-glaze or majolica painting. Wetting of the paint powder is carried out with water. The application by brushing or spraying is quite simple. Higher firing temperatures may result in colour changes.
Firing range: 980 - 1240°C (Exception: 6168-6170 up to 1200°C)
The raw majolica glaze e.g. 229 or 222 must be adequately abrasion-proof - if necessary add glaze binders.
