The glaze can be applied by pouring or brushing
Brush application:
INSIDE
1x for a lively character / rough and smooth surfaces. This creates colour nuances ranging from gray, beige and white to turquoise.
2x for an intense turquoise with a green crackle effect. If the application is too thick, there will be a risks of cracks.
Also looks very beautiful when applied as a combination: half with one coat, half with two coats - high-contrast effect.
OUTSIDE
1x for a lively character / full coverage possible
Pouring/Dipping application:
- The consistency of the glaze should be like watery cream, therefore you may need to add 100-150ml of extra water
- One coat is sufficient
- Full coverage is possible, however - especially during your first firing - place a "cookie" underneath to protect your kiln shelves
- Hold time 1-2 seconds
- With this method, the appearance is always uniform in colour, resulting in a completey melted and smooth surface
